De pronto, el 29 de noviembre de 1883, a los ocho meses de morir Marx, aparece en el Times una carta fechada en el Trinity College de Cambridge y firmada por un tal Sedley Taylor, en la que, sin venir a cuento, este hpmbrecillo, criado dentro del más servil espíritu gremial, nos abría por fin los ojos no sólo acerca de las murmuraciones de Cambridge, sino también acerca del anónimo autor de la Concordia.
